Loudi, The First Indonesian Man to Debut as a K-Pop Idol

FEMUSINDO.com - The first Indonesian man to debut as a K-Pop idol is named Edward Wen or better known by his stage name Loudi.

Edward Wen, who was born in Yogyakarta, April 13, 1996, debuted with the boy band 14U under the agency BG Entertainment in 2017, with the song titled Very Very Very (VVV).

Initially, Loudi moved to South Korea not to become an idol, but to continue his education and get involved in the fashion industry.

Then, this K-Pop idol from Indonesia finally tried to audition for a boy band and successfully debuted with 14U.

After his debut, Loudi immediately performed abroad. Together with 14U, Loudi performed in Japan at the Power into Tohoku 2017 event.

To note, besides having a great voice, Loudi is also good at English. He will speak English to fans outside South Korea.

After 14U disbanded, he continued his career as a soloist under the agency Aimers Entertainment, and became a broadcaster on KBS World Radio Indonesia. (*)
