Lost Angels and the Rock Festival Competition
The Lost Angels band in the 1991 era consisted of Inno Daon (Inno) (vocals), John Paul Ivan (Ivan) (guitar), Hubert Henry Limahelu (Henry) (bass) and Petrus Agusty (Pet) (drums).
Shortly after, Inno Daon chose to leave and was replaced by Roy Jeconiah in the vocal position in 1992.
At the end of 1993, Lost Angels participated in the Rock Festival competition organized by Log Zhelebour and made it into the top ten.
Then, they released a single entitled 'No More' which was recorded on the compilation album 10 Finalists of the VII Indonesian Rock Festival (1993).
Changed Name to Boomerang
On May 8, 1994, the name of the Lost Angels band changed to Boomerang. The band's name change coincided with the release of their first album with the hit singles Kasih and No More.

It was also during this first album that Boomerang decided to fire their drummer, Pet Agusty, and was replaced by Farid Martin who officially became a permanent member on January 1, 1995.
With this new formation, in 1995 they immediately worked on their second album entitled "Kontaminasi Otak". From this album, the hits "Bawalah Aku" and "O-ya" skyrocketed and took them on a promo tour on the islands of Java, Lombok, Sumatra, and Kalimantan.
Double Album Release
After releasing the album "Disharmoni" in 1996 and a tribute/cover album titled "Segitiga" in 1998, Boomerang then released a double greatest hits album titled "Best Ballad" and "Hard 'n Heavy" in 1999 to celebrate its fifth anniversary.
After working on the album Xtravaganza in 2001, Boomerang decided to leave Log Zhelebour's management.
They then moved under the auspices of Sony Music Indonesia and released 2 albums, namely "Terapi Visi" in 2003 and "Urbanoustic" in 2004.
New Vocalist
In 2014, Boomerang worked on their latest album "Harmonis Tidak Seragam" with a new vocalist named Andi Babas as the main vocalist.
In 2022, Boomerang returned to the Indonesian music world after the death of their bassist, Hubert Henry Limahelu.
By using the name "Boomerang Reload", the meaning of the use of the name "Reload" is interpreted as "refilled".
Boomerang Reload is present with a new formation with John Paul Ivan (guitar), Farid Martin (drums), and Andi Babas (bass).
In early December 2022, Boomerang Reload recruited the vocalist duo Robbie Matulandi (ex-EdanE) and Irang Arkad (ex-BIP).
The vocalist duo recruited by Boomerang Reload performed on the "Rock In Celebes 2022" stage which was held at Trans Studio Makassar. (*)
