Mr. Children's achievements and popularity have made them the second best-selling band in Japan after B'z.

Release of First Album and Tour

Mr. Children's first album with a major label was the mini album Everything which was released on May 10, 1992.

Three months later, they released their first single, "Kimi ga Ita Natsu" (August 21, 1992) which was taken from the album Everything.

Single Chart Number One

As of the end of 2007, Mr. Children has 26 consecutive singles that have reached number one on the Oricon singles chart.
