FEMUSINDO.com - Noah Kahan is an American singer-songwriter who signed with Republic Records in 2017.
The folk-pop singer and songwriter was born in Strafford, Vermont, United States, on January 1, 1997.
Ikahan began writing songs at the age of 8 and uploaded them to SoundCloud and YouTube, where his music began to gain attention.
He first toured at the age of 19, opening for Milky Chance, a German rock band from Kassel.
In 2018, Kahan was featured on the song "Tough" by Quinn XCII. The song was released on December 11, 2018.
His breakthrough single, "Hurt Somebody", reached gold status in the United States and charted in several international markets.
The single and EP of the same name preceded the release of his debut album, Busyhead (2019). Within five years, two more albums followed, namely I Was / I Am (2021) and Stick Season (2022).
Both albums became his major commercial breakthroughs and earned him a nomination in 2023 for the Grammy Award for Best New Artist.
During his career, he received awards and nominations, including the Billboard Music Awards, Grammy Awards, People's Choice Awards and Brit Awards (2023).
