FEMUSINDO.com - Officially formed in 1992, NTRL --- previously named Netral, is an alternative rock music group in Indonesia led by Bagus Dhanar Dhana.

Initially, this band was formed with the name Spektakuler by 3 high school students, before finally the name Netral was coined.

When it was first formed, this group consisted of 3 personnel, namely Bagus Dhanar Dhana (Bagus) - vocalist and bassist, Gabriel Bimo Sulaksono (Bimo) - drummer and Ricky Dayandani (Miten) - guitarist.

Video Clip Release

The beginning of this group's emergence was the release of a video clip entitled Wa..lah!! on the MTV Indonesia television station which at that time was still collaborating with ANTV.

This song is the mainstay of the first album under the auspices of PT. Indosemar Sakti which was made into a video clip during the era of alternative rock that was at its peak in the 90s.

On February 16, 1997, Netral released its second album entitled Tidak Enak. With the songs Bobo, Boring Day and Desaku, the sales of the second album and its commercial figures were no less than the first album.

On January 16, 1998, Netral released its third album entitled Album Minggu Ini and immediately held a tour to 24 cities in Sumatra-Java.

Together with Eno, Netral released its fourth album Paten on June 9, 1999. This album was supported by Ahmad Dhani (Dewa 19 personnel) and Dessy Fitri.

In 2000, Netral released the compilation album The Best of Netral: Is The Best with the hits single Cahaya Bulan and Warna Biru.

In 2001, with 2 personnel Netral released its fifth album entitled Oke Deh with the single Bertarung.

In 2003, Netral released their latest album titled Kancut with their first single titled I Love You.

CD Printing

On February 7, 2005, Netral released their seventh album, with 7 songs and only 7000 CDs were printed.

In this era, Netral released the album Hitam, with its first single Haru Biru. This album was accompanied by a bonus DVD containing a film about the making of the album.

Also in 2005, the sequel to Netral's eighth album titled Putih was launched with the songs Sorry and Terbang Tenggelam.

In 2007, the 9th album was launched by Netral with the hits single Perang Hati and Cinta Gila. In 2009, the album The Story Of was launched with the singles Garuda di Dadaku and Hari Yang Indah.

Netral's Last Album

In 2012, the album Unity was launched with the singles Dia and Senyum, this album also became the last album using the name Netral.

In 2015, the band officially changed its name to NTRL and launched the song Sakit Jiwa as a hits single from the album 11/12.

In 2018, NTRL released the compilation album XXV. This album was worked on in two months in 2017 and was simultaneously published on May 25, 2018 via NTRL Records. (*)
