FEMUSINDO.com - Established on March 17, 2001, Radja is a rock music group from Jakarta, Indonesia. Radja was formed on the initiative of Ian Kasela and Moldy who migrated from Banjarmasin to Jakarta.

Currently, Radja personnel consists of Ian Kasela (vocalist), Moldy (guitarist), Seno Aji Wibowo (drummer) and Pujiana Vimarsyah or commonly known as Ojie (bassist).

They are known for their repackaged album Langkah Baru (2004) with several hit songs entitled Cinderella, Manusia Biasa, Tulus, Bulan and Jujur.

First Album

Radja's first album, Lepas Masa Lalu, was released in July 2001. In 2002, Shuma (bassist) and Adit (drummer) chose to resign from Radja.

Radja's second album was titled "Manusia Biasa" with the hits "Cinderella" and "Jujur". In early 2005, they launched a repackage album.

The album, which was sponsored by EMI Music Indonesia, was titled "Langkah Baru", which contained their songs on the previous album plus 3 new songs.

Award Winning

The album "Langkah Baru" brought Radja the Golden Award for cassette sales of over 75,000 copies and the Platinum Award for sales of over 150,000 copies.

Then, the Double Platinum Award for sales of over 300,000 copies, Multi Platinum for cassette sales of over 500,000 copies, which was 1.2 million copies.

In 2006, Radja launched their fourth album entitled "Aku Ada Karena Kau Ada". They also received several awards, one of which was from the SCTV Music Awards which named them "Most Popular Band of 2006".

At the end of 2006, they returned to work by participating in creating a religious album which was launched during the month of Ramadan. This Religious Album is Radja's fifth album and is titled "1000 Bulan".

New Personnel and Radja Reunited

In early 2007, Radja released their sixth album and was titled "Untuk Semua". On this album, they released the hit singles entitled Patah Hati and Jangan Sakiti Aku.

In 2010, Indra and Seno decided to leave Radja because they formed a new band called Audio Jet. In 2011, Radja had new personnel, namely Aldi (keyboard, synthesizer), Oji (bass) and Vidin (drums).

In 2015, Radja returned with the old formation after the return of Indra and Seno. They reunited through Radja Reunited with personnel, namely Ian Kasela (vocalist), Moldy (guitarist), Indra (bassist) and Seno (drummer). (*)
