FEMUSIDO.com - Repvblik ---read Republik, a music group from Bogor City, West Java Province, which was officially formed on March 24, 2004.
This band has 4 members, namely Ruri Herdian Wantogia (vocals), Heri Masrulah Achmad (guitar), Lafi Hariyatulafian (bass), Bachtiar Rahman Hamzah (keyboard and backing vocals).
Repvblik, a pop rock, alternative rock and Malay pop music group has been active since 2004 until now.
Repvblik Music Group Formed
Before Repvblik was formed, initially each personnel had a band and competed in every festival held in Jabodetabek and Bandung.
Then, they, consisting of young people who were still students, gathered because their respective bands were in a vacuum and formed the band Repvblik.
At the end of 2006, they released their first album entitled Punya Arti with the hit singles "Jika Aku Mati" and "Hanya Ingin Kau Tahu".
Successful Album Release
The success of this album made them release a repackage album entitled Arti Baru. In the album, they included 2 new songs, namely " Sudah Cukup" (which also became a hit song from this album) and " Buatku Abadi".
Approaching the month of Ramadhan 1428 H (2007 AD), Repvblik also enlivened it by releasing the religious album Hidupku di JalanMu (2007) with 6 mainstay tracks.
In 2012, Repvblik changed labels, namely moving to the Pro-M label and releasing the latest single, Sandiwara Cinta.
In mid-2014, Repvblik returned with the release of a new album, Sandiwara Cinta, at the nearest KFC store.
Highest Awards Achieved by Repvblik
The highest awards achieved by Repvblik, namely Klik! Awards ANTV, Inbox Awards SCTV and Dahsyatnya Awards RCTI.
In early 2018, Repvblik released a single titled Bicara Kosong. In 2020, Republik changed labels again, namely with MSI Record.
Under the auspices of the DH Production label, Repvblik released several singles, namely the songs "Tanpamu" (2021), "Pura Pura Tak Tahu" (2022) and "Cinta Sempurna" (2023).
Furthermore, Repvblik is no longer under the previous label and moved labels with EME Music Indonesia in 2023. (*)
