Julio Iglesias is one of the top 10 best-selling artists of all time. To date, he has also performed around 5000 concerts.
In 2006, he released the album Romantic Classics in Asia with several songs in Indonesian.
He also duetted with Indonesian singer, Anggun C. Casmi, in "All of You". His duet with Anggun is Julio's old song with Diana Ross in 1984.
Received Honorary Doctorate Degree
In 2015, Julio Iglesias received an honorary degree or Honorary Doctorate Degree from Berklee College of Music, Boston, United States.
His achievements in the world of music, as well as his influence on American and international culture were considered extraordinary by the campus.
Before Julio Iglesias, a number of other legendary names had previously been awarded honorary degrees by Berklee.
Those who have been given honorary degrees are Duke Ellington, Aretha Franklin, Steven Tyler, Loretta Lynn, David Bowie, Willie Nelson and Placido Domingo. (*)
