FEMUSINDO.com - Salomón Villada Hoyos, better known by his stage names Feid and Ferxxo, is a Colombian singer, songwriter and record producer.

Born in Medellín, Colombia, on August 19, 1992, Feid has performed with several famous singers including Bad Bunny, J Balvin, Sebastián Yatra, Manuel Turizo, Maluma and Karol G.

Feid entered the top 10 best-selling artists on Spotify in 2024 along with Taylor Swift, Bad Bunny, The Weeknd, Drake, Billie Eilish, Travis Scott, Peso Pluma, Ariana Grande and Kanye West.

Deciding to Start Singing

In his childhood, Feid studied clarinet, which he later abandoned after deciding to start singing.

Feid took singing classes and also sang in front of his friends. He was in the college choir.

He eventually focused on creating reggaeton music and sang at college parties, birthday parties, and reunions.

Received Awards and Nominations

In music, Feid prefers hip-hop and R&B, listening to artists such as Drake, T-Pain and Chris Brown.

Later, he became a reggaeton artist because he felt that the genre was more popular among the younger generation.
