They have achieved success and influenced many other music groups. They are also considered one of the bands in the New Wave of British Heavy Metal.

Their three most recent albums, The Final Frontier (2010), The Book of Souls (2015), and Senjutsu (2021), have all reached number 1 in over 25 countries.
