FEMUSINDO.com - First formed on March 3, 2003, d'Masiv (also written as D'MASIV) is a music group based in Jakarta. The word d'Masiv itself comes from the English word "massive".
It has 5 members, namely Rian Ekky Pradipta (vocals), Nurul Damar Ramadan (guitar), Dwiki Aditya Marsall (guitar), Rayyi Kurniawan Iskandar Dinata (bass) and Wahyu Piadji (drums).
In 2006 Massive (before changing its name to d'Masiv) debuted their first album entitled "Menuju Nirwana" under the Indie Malta Music Indonesia label.
Unfortunately, their first album under the name Massive did not sell well in the market. Their name began to soar after successfully winning the music competition A Mild Live Wanted in 2007 as the first winner defeating several other contestants.
Follow the Competition and Release the First Album
When participating in the A mild Live Wanted competition in 2007, they had changed their name from Massive to d'Masiv with the hit single "Tak Bisa Hidup Tanpamu".
Under the contract of Musica Studio's, a major music label company in Indonesia, D'Masiv released their first album entitled "Perubahan" in 2008.
With their mainstay song "Cinta Ini Membunuhku", d'Masiv began to be reckoned with in the national music scene.

Release of Several Albums
In 2009, d'Masiv released 2 singles into one mini album "Special Edition" with songs titled "Mohon Ampun Aku" and "Jangan Menyerah".
In 2012, d'Masiv released their third album titled "Persiapan". Then continued with the fourth album released in 2014 titled "Hidup Lebih Indah".
In 2016, d'Masiv released their fifth album titled "D'Masiv" (Orange Album). In 2019, they released their sixth album titled "LOVE".
In 2022 d'Masiv released their seventh album titled TIME which was released on February 25, 2022. On May 20, 2024 D'masiv released their eighth album titled "8".
Win Many Awards
Because of the popularity of their songs, d'Masiv's name has recently been compared to "top" Indonesian bands, such as Letto, Noah, Armada, Samsons, Wali Band, Kerispatih, Ungu, Setia Band, Kangen Band, Matta Band, Nidji and Radja.
During their career, d'Masiv has won several awards, including Double Platinum RBT Awards, Multi Platinum RBT Awards and Most Awesome Video Clip, Dahsyatnya Awards 2010.
Then, Best Song, AMI Awards 2010, Best Band Group, AMI Awards 2010, Best Production Work, AMI Awards 2010, Best Songwriter: Rian Ekky Pradipta and other awards. (*)
