John Lennon: The Life Story of The Singer, Songwriter and Founder of The Beatles

FEMUSINDO.com - John Winston Ono Lennon or better known as John Lennon, was born on October 9, 1940 in Liverpool, England, as the eldest child of Julia Stanley and Alfred Lennon.

He is known as a singer, songwriter, instrumentalist, writer and political activist. However, he is famous throughout the world as the second singer, as well as the founder and leader of The Beatles.

Lennon and Paul McCartney formed the most successful and successful songwriting partnership to date. Lennon with his cynicism and McCartney with his optimism complement each other very well.

Successful Solo Career

After The Beatles disbanded in 1970, he was also successful with his solo career. Where, the band called "The Beatles" was founded by Lennon.

Personal Life and Tragic Death

Lennon was married twice, to Cynthia Powell in 1962 and Japanese artist, Yoko Ono in 1969. Lennon began his relationship with Ono in May 1968 after returning from India.

From his first and second marriages, he had two children, Julian Lennon (born 1963) and Sean Taro Ono Lennon (born 1975).

John Lennon died in front of his New York City apartment at the age of 40 in a tragic way because he was shot four times by Mark David Chapman.

The killer, Mark David Chapman, was a fan who was unhappy with Lennon's political and religious views. (*)
