FEMUSINDO.com - YouTube Music is a music streaming service application that allows users to listen to music, watch music videos, and access other music content.
YouTube Music is a music streaming service and mobile application developed by YouTube, a subsidiary of Google.
YouTube Music is available in 95 countries; mostly in the Americas, Europe and Oceania, and in parts of Africa and Asia.
YouTube Music Release
The YouTube Music application was launched in October 2015 and released the following month. Its release coincided with the launch of YouTube Red, a larger subscription service that includes the entire YouTube platform, including the Music application.
Although redundant for Google's existing Google Play Music All Access subscription service, the application is designed for users who primarily consume music through YouTube.
On May 17, 2018, YouTube announced a new version of the YouTube Music service, including a web-based desktop player and a redesigned mobile application.
The recommendations displayed are also more dynamic based on various factors, and Google's use of artificial intelligence technology to search for songs based on lyrics and descriptions.
Save Albums Before Release
Starting in September 2019, Google Play Music was replaced by YouTube Music in the core bundle of Google mobile services distributed on new Android devices.
On May 25, 2020, YouTube Music allowed users to save albums in advance before they were released.
With the YouTube Music app, you can watch music videos, stay connected with your favorite artists, and discover music and podcasts to enjoy on all your devices.
YouTube Music offers several features, including an extensive music catalog, including official songs, live performances, music videos, remixes, podcasts, and rare music.
Then, music recommendations based on the type of music you have listened to and user activity and a search feature to search for music by genre, playlists, and recommendations.
In YouTube Music there is an audio/video switch mode, features to create queues, repeat, and skip songs without limits, sample tabs and a music tuner.
How to Use YouTube Music
To use YouTube Music, on the device file in the YouTube Music app, tap your profile photo. Tap Settings and Tap Collection & downloads.
Then, Slide the button on the “Show device files” option to the on position. Your device files will now appear in your Collection. Find the music you want to listen to through the Playlist, Album, Artist, or Song options in your Collection.
YouTube Music has two versions, namely YouTube Music ad-supported and YouTube Music Premium (paid).
YouTube Music Premium offers the same features as the ad-supported version, plus premium music benefits such as ad-free music playback, audio-only music playback, and downloading songs.
This subscription benefit is also offered to Google Play Music and YouTube Premium subscribers. This service replaced Google Play Music as Google's main brand in music streaming services on December 1, 2020. (*)
