The Voice Singing Talent Search Television Series, Aired in Various Countries

FEMUSINDO.com - The Voice is a television series of singing talent searches that is aired in various countries.

This event originated from the show The Voice of Holland from the Netherlands, which was then adapted to other countries, including Indonesia in the show The Voice Indonesia.

Released on September 17, 2010, The Voice of Holland was created by John de Mol, a Dutch media entrepreneur and television producer.

In Indonesia, this event is organized by Talpa Media which previously created a show with a similar concept, namely Superstar.

In each country, the main presenters of The Voice are between 1 to 2 people (but there are also 3 people) who are assisted by co-hosts who will help the show run until it is finished.

For the judging, although they are called judges, they do not determine the fate of the contestants, but only assess the actions of the participants.

In The Voice, the judges consist of 4 people for The Voice and 3 people for The Voice Kids.

The Voice event has several determining rounds, including Blind Audition, Battle Round, Knockout, Live Shows and Final.

Blind Audition

In Blind Audition, each participant appears on stage, while the coach sits behind the contestant, meaning the coach can only listen to the participant's voice without seeing their physical appearance.

If the coach likes the participant's voice, the coach simply presses the I WANT YOU button and the chair rotates towards the stage.

If more than 1 coach presses the button, then the participant can choose the coach of their choice. In accordance with the original format, Blind Audition is recorded as a marathon and participants are selected randomly.

Battle Round

In Battle Round, each participant will be pitted against the coach and other participants. Two contestants will be called and given a song by the coach then they will be trained by the coach until they are ready to duel at the specified time.

The coach will assess the comparable opponents, so that the one who can master the song and one of the participants will win the duel.

When one of the participants loses in the duel, it can be stolen by another coach. If more than 1 coach presses the button, then the participant can choose the coach of their choice.

Knockout

In Knockout the contestants choose their own song to perform individually while the others watch and wait.

After that, the coach chooses one to advance while the others are sent home. At the end of the knockout round, the strongest members of each coach's list continue to the live show.

Live Shows

Live Shows are the round to determine the participants where each week there will be 4 participants in each team who will leave the stage. Each week, the song performed by the participants.

Final

The final round that will determine the winner. In some countries there are usually 4 participants in each team. The participant with the highest voting results will be the winner. (*)
